We really enjoyed our stay in Birch House. The property was beautifully clean and extremely well equipped. There were 7 of us there, all adults who have stayed in many different places over the years and we all agreed that this was one of the best appointed places in which we had ever stayed. Everything there was top quality. The web site had mentioned some items like the luxurious crisp linen but there was so much more that we hadn’t been expecting. We hadn’t expected the fully equipped kitchen,the range of teas and coffee provided, the wine and chocolates, internet access etc etc. The owners were great to deal with, and overall we felt that everything possible had been done to make our stay enjoyable. We will certainly be back.

Birch House was a perfect cottage to get away and experience a little bit of luxury, whilst still feeling comfortable having fun with the kids.

We thoroughly enjoyed the little touches such as wine, chocolates, fresh brewed coffee, huge selection of specialty teas and pancakes with maple syrup. The beautiful bed linen, large comfy beds and huge fluffy towels were unsurpassed.

Everything is thought of, including a picnic bag, umbrellas for inclement weather, wireless internet, DVDs, books, games, and all mod cons.

Koroit is a beautiful, quaint town, very close to both Warrnambool and Port Fairy. We had plenty to do with the kids with Tower Hill just a short drive and we even saw whales.
We found it hard to decide whether to get out and about, or stay back at the cottage enjoying the gorgeous cottage garden, log fires, or visiting the ducks at the neighbour’s house.

This time we holidayed with just the family, but the cottage easily accommodates more with two queen beds, two singles, and a separate studio with another queen bed and all the same luxury and attention to detail as the cottage.

We will definitely stay again!!

… you have the most delightful, well thought out, most comfortable, most attention to detail and needs of your visitors, that we have ever stayed at. We really did feel most welcome and cared for in every way and the beds were so comfortable.

After a long day’s drive, it was such a pleasure and delight to open the door to Birch House and find such a relaxing peaceful house awaiting us. The gardens are just so beautiful and peaceful, it was lovely to just ‘sit’ and enjoy it while having a coffee on the deck. My children loved all the space to run around in and even enjoyed a game of cricket! I particularly loved all the little extras, such as the wide range of teas to drink..umbrellas and a coat for rainy days, and a wide range of books and magazines.

We only had two days there and would have loved to stay much longer, as we plan to do in the future. I definately recommend Birch House for a relaxing break you will always remember.

….. what a wonderful long weekend we had at Birch House & Birch Studio, none of us wanted to go home. You provided everything we needed and more. The beds, linen and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud.

Waking up in the Studio every morning to that view of the garden was absolutely relaxing. Thanks for the Chocolates and Wine too. (A very nice drop)

We had a wonderful stay at Birch House. It was beautifully presented, very comfortable and easily accommodated a large group! The cottage garden was gorgeous and provided a serene and quiet outlook – perfect for our young children to explore and visit the koalas in residence.

Thank you for exceeding our expectations – we would definitely stay again! Was pure LUXURY – 5 stars!
